SYNOPSIS
The CompTIA Convergence+ is a certification that demonstrates knowledge of areas in communication technologies where telecommunications, video, data communication, broadcast, and other single based IP-delivery systems are used. The exam is vendor neutral and does not have any prerequisites; however, CompTIA does recommend somewhere between 18 and 24 months of experience with voice and digital networking over IP solutions before attempting the single qualifying exam for this certification. It is considered to be moderately difficult and will become available to the public on March 30th, 2007.
