SYNOPSIS Solaris 8 SCSA
Sun’s exam CX-310-011, “Sun Certified System
Administrator for the Solaris 8 Operating Environment – Part I” is a core
requirement for the Sun Certified System Administrator (SCSA) Solaris 8 OE certification.
It is designed for Unix system administrators with a minimum of six months
experience. There is no specific prerequisite for this exam but candidates
should be familiar with basic Unix and Solaris OE commands. It is a
prerequisite for the CX-310-012 “Sun Certified System Administrator for the
Solaris 8 Operating Environment – Part II” exam.
This exam is easy to
moderately difficult and costs $150 USD. It may be taken from Thomson Prometric.
The pass score for this
multiple choice, free response and drag and drop exam is 66%. There are 57 questions
and the exam lasts 105 minutes.
